What is early intervention speech therapy?
Early intervention speech therapy is a support system for toddlers and young children with developmental delays. We focus on building communication skills during the child's most critical years of brain development, right in the comfort of your home environment.
Do you accept insurance for home visits?
At this time, we are not in network with any insurance plans. Sunshine Speech LA provides private pay speech and language therapy services. Please contact your insurance provider to discuss your plan's coverage and reimbursement policies for out of network services.
Is an evaluation required prior to treatment?
Yes, all new clients need an evaluation prior to treatment to ensure an appropriate treatment plan, recommendations, referals, and diagnosis. However, if an evaluation has been completed in the last 6 months prior to starting treatment, an evluation may not be needed.
Are additional services and extended session time available for my child?
Yes; however, additional time and services will be conveniently billed in 15-minute increments.
What is the session cancelation policy?
If you need to cancel a session, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time and rescheduled within the same week. Failure to cancel and reschedule within this timeframe will result in being billed for the full session duration.
